Matching the 3D camera to the footage and modelling the props. Done in XSI.

Creating the showdown effect with particles and footage.
Using Maya and XSI. Modelling and scattering all elements which were going broke.
Using Maya rigid body simulation and blend shapes to simulate the explosion. Importing them to XSI and shaded them. Using XSI particle and stock footage for the explosion.
I created the rocket sequence with Maya particles and the composite was done with digital fusion.
