Tracking the camera and object (head).
Painting and texturing a hole for his cheek. I projected this texture on the object tracked head and composed it. I did all renderings in XSI and composed them in shake.
Particle simulation to enhance the blood on the window. Making the blood flowing down the window, and making blood bubbles (the right side was original) Made the smear effect, when the head moves. Done in Digital Fusion.
For that shot I went to the airport, making some photos from starting airplanes. I made the tracking with 3DEqualizer and I modelled the turbine. I painted the textures for the airplane, shaded and rendered it. Adding some settled exhaust with XSI particles. Giving the Lead-Composer a precomposed sequence of the airplane.
The Regisseur didn’t want to use his shooted blood, it was looking like something else. Compositing was no help. So I did some blood which fits more.
Done in Digital Fusion.

Tracking the Sequence with 3DEqualizer. I used XSI to project the footage for the TV on a cambered object. Rendering and Compositing.
The shot was first tracked by myself with 3DEqualizer, then I composed the rendered elements (the tractor track was done in 3D), with shake.
Tracking and placing TV footage. Done in shake.
